As a beekeeper, I am distressed at the new
classification of species. In fact, I am a strict
chemotaxonomist. I believe all species should be classified
according to
their biochemical structure and am greatly desirous of a
complete
genetic
documentation of all species regardless of cost.
This is the Age of Genetics and the taxonomist must no
longer
bear the unjust weight of history and reoriginate species in a
manner that would make Darwin crimson with envy.
In the company of bees and wasps, I no longer labor under the abstractness of individual thought and I discern a distinctly maternal instinct within me that deepens my devotion to the Virgin Mother.
