Solaris (Солярис)

This 1972 science fiction film is Tarkovsky's best-known film in the West. Psychologist Kris Kelvin is sent to a distant space station revolving around the mysterious planet Solaris. Upon arrival, he finds and experiences the inexplicable. The circumstances in the film, and the film itself, are concerned with "something about conscience."
