Abstract:

[English abstract] The whole structure of the FRBR document and, in particular, the concept of manifestazione seems to be somehow influenced by the remarks on the work, title and author made in the 80's. The functions of publisher, printer and bookselle years of hand printing, seemed to be quite interesting, as well as the way they got connected with the Manifestation. Some years ago it was highlighted that FRBR lays great emphasis on the Manifestation, as it represents a traditional doorway to old books. On the other hand, it has been often argued that the issue of access normalization within old books' cataloguing seems mu to modern cataloguing. We agree with Mauro Guerrini who complained about the lack of authority files in Italy, including those of the people in charge of publishing, who are closely connected with the manifestation. In other words, to use a more modern l booksellers. Hence, the shape given to their denominations acquires a great importance when this element turns into a stable and fundamental access key to bibliographic information. [Italian abstract] Tutta la struttura del documento FRBR - ed in particolare il concetto di manifestazione - sembrerebbe essere stato in qualche modo influenzato dalle riflessioni sull'opera, il testo e l'autore degli anni Ottanta. Particolarmente interessante sembra essere la funzione di editori, tipografi e librai del periodo della stampa manuale (1450 ca. - 1830 ca.) e la relazione che essi ebbero con la manifestazione. E' stato sottolineato come FRBR dia un particolare spazio alla manifestazione, tradizionale acceso per il libro antico. D'altra parte è opinione più volte ribadita che nella catalogazione del libro antico il problema della normalizzazione degli accessi si presenti con problematiche senza dubbio più complesse rispetto alla catalogazione moderna. E si deve concordare con l'affermazione di Mauro Guerrini, quando lamentava la carenza di authority files in Italia, registrando tra queste anche quella dei responsabili della pubblicazione, legati alla manifestazione da una relazione fondamentale. Cioè , per usare un linguaggio più corrente, editori, tipografi, librai. E di qui anche l'importanza che assume la forma che viene data alle loro denominazioni nel mo momento in cui questo elemento diventa una chiave di acceso stabile e fondamentale all'informazione bibliografica.
