Abstract:

[English abstract] The CERL Thesaurus file has been created since 1999. It is maintained by the Data Conversion Group in Gą ¶ttingen. The format is UNIMARC "inspired". It consists of three parts: places, imprint names (printers and publishers) and personal names (authors, editors, translators). The Thesaurus exclusively serves early printing, which in the context of the activities of the Consortium of European research libraries (CERL) means printing of the hand press book area, starting from the beginnings (1450) until round about 1830/40. [Italian abstract] Il thesaurus del Consorzio delle biblioteche europee di ricerca (CERL) esiste dal 1999 ed č liberamente accessibile a tutti sul Web. Viene gestito dal Data Conversion Group a Gą ¶ttingen: il formato si ispira all'UNIMARC. Comprende tre ca categorie: nomi di luogo (luoghi di stampa, di pubblicazione), (stampatori, librai) e nomi di persona in generale (autori, cu di libri antichi, che, nel contesto delle attivitą del CERL, sono libri stampati con pressa a mano, a partire dagli inizi (1450) fino intorno al 1830/40.
