Abstract:

Digital projects dealing with humanities primary sources often pose developmental challenges. The author presents preliminary findings and lessons learned during the development of an envisioned online reference book. The paper discusses the evolution of the author’ thought about the nature and the role of prototype development for humanities digital projects.
