Abstract:

Knowledge networking is an old idea, but new computing and communication technologies such as digital libraries and collaboratories are changing the landscape of how such networking operates. It is essential that a clear understanding of the kinds of knowledge involved in knowledge networking is used in order to successfully introduce new knowledge technologies.
