Abstract:

This paper describes a Virtual File Management System for a distributed video server. Our concept is to show distributed video data files in several video servers as they are in a single video server. To realize the concept, we propose the Virtual Network Tree mechanism. We also propose the Access History Recording mechanism to give information for relocating the distributed video data.
