Abstract:

“Cataloging Remote Electronic Resources' provides a brief history of the development of cataloging rules for electronic resources, together with a thorough discussion of the descriptive cataloging of this material according to AACR2. Rules used for cataloging include an October 2000 draft of the new chapter 9 approved by JSC. MARC 21 coding and tagging of the bibliographic records is also included.
