Australian Library Journal 2002 51 (4)1206
(ReLIS:jul:juljuh:y:2002:v:51:i:4:p:1206)

Abstract:

What organisation and what a survey of key values relevant to powering our future and contributing to the information agenda! Now, all the other speakers had the advantage of preparing papers before they came to the conference. My advantage was that I did not need to prepare one. No, I had to prepare one actually while the conference was happening. So, what I want to do in the next forty-odd minutes is to touch upon various of the problems, insecurities and anxieties that were listed by our speakers and also - and equally - the joys, the triumphs and the future hopes for libraries and for the information industries.
