Abstract:

Due to increasing impact of information technology on libraries and information centers, out traditional method of teaching and curricula has become outdated. Most LIS departments have changed their curricula but their method of teaching remains unchanged. In this scenario right teaching methods is the need of the hour. The basic theme of the present paper is to discuss the methods for teaching library and information science. Also highlights the knowledge and skills required for future library and information science professionals.
