The construction of the scientific information centre of the Institut Pasteur

Abstract:

The central library of the Institut Pasteur is a research library, specialized in microbiology. Transferred in 1994 in a new building, the scientific information centre, it has been conceived to be evolutional, in its spaces and functions. Its realization is the result of a close collaboration between librarians and architects, and shows its double vocation of library of conservation and modern scientific documentation centre.
