The departmental lending library in the Côtes-d'Armor

Abstract:

The departmental lending library in the Côtes-d'Armor has been created in 1982. The author underlines the fact that the architects knew how to use the particular topographic data and describes the outer shape of a building which looks like an outward bound ship, and the clear and luminous interior spaces. The advantages and drawbacks of the interior organization, but also the possibilities of extension in the future are mentioned.
