Libraries and teenagers : the example of Echirolles

Abstract:

How to face up to everyday problems with suburban teenagers ? Confronted with increasing difficulties in the field, a team of librarians from Echirolles, a suburban town of Grenoble has set up by easy stages several actions : individual and collective training, workshop for a better knowledge of users, audit about organization, questions about the identity and the missions of the public library and its partners, the paticipation of a psychosociologist and finally the supervision of the team by a therapeutist.
